Generally the Error 9004 occurs because of the physical characteristics (virtual log parity) that are especially for the inactive virtual log files that is in the transaction log that are not preserved when the full database backup has been restored. This problem can be resolved with the help of MS SQL Database recovery. The MS SQL Database recovery provides powerful algorithm that performs a complete and thorough scan of the SQL files so that the error can be resolved without deleting or modifying the original data structure. The software is ideal in recovering the error that has caused because of the malfunctioning of any of the components of the SQL server database. So for resolving this problem you will have to obtain the latest version of the service pack for Microsoft SQL Server 2000, there you can view the article and act accordingly then this problem can be resolved.
