The SQL Server Agent is damaged in MS SQL Server 2003 ?

The SQL Server Agent has gone damaged due to some reasons which I cannot find out. As a result of which, I am not able to get access to the files and folders located in the database.

When I am trying to open the database file, I am getting the following error message: "The ExecReAlloc memory operation failed (request [for 1508 bytes] occurred at line 2409 of function ODBCErrorHandler)".

What can be the reason for the SQL Server Agent to get damaged? Can anybody elucidate the reason behind this damage and tell me how to repair it so that I am able to get access o the files in the database?

The main reason for the damaged SQL Server Agent is due to the routine for the procession the errors in the database and there is not enough space left on the database. As a result of which the Server Agent crashes; making it absolutely impossible for you to get access to the files in the database.

The SQL Server Agent is a very integral part of the database. Unlike the database files that can be repaired by some manual commands, the same thing does not apply to the SQL Server Agent. The damage cannot be repaired using the manual methods. The only solution to repair it is by using some kind of utility tools.

There is a lot of MS SQL Database Repair software available in the market as well as on the internet that can help you in getting the SQL Server Agent repaired. Some of the popular software is Stellar Phoenix, Nucleus and Kernel. Only by using repair tools the damage can be repaired otherwise you would not be able to get access to any of your files located in MS SQL Database.
