Problem in iPod Touch. Need Help!! ?

By mistake I had pressed the Erase button of my iPod Touch, but after soon realizing I stopped the button. I made it off and than again on but now it’s just showing a black screen and nothing else. I plugged it into my computer for restoring the files but iTunes does not recognize the iPod in the recovery mode. Even I charged my iPod but than also it showing the same thing, black screen. How can this problem be solved?

I too have faced the same problem with my iPod Nano. This was also showing the black screen and I get failed in restoring my files to my System. For the lost files you can do the iPod data Recovery and you can get restore iPod data and for the appearing black screen you should again plug your iPod Touch into Computer with your iTunes open. Now just hold on both the Home and Power buttons for seconds and then let go the power button and then hold it on till you hear a sound on the system then it should show up on iTunes. This will definitely work, as this has only helped me. But if no results, than better take your iPod to the Apple Store.
