How to resolve Outlook.pst can not be accessed- 0×80040116 error message?

Whenever I try to attempt to open Microsoft outlook folders I encounter and error message Outlook.pst can not be accessed- 0×80040116 which makes me unable to view or open the pst files. Is it the case of corruption of pst files?

samuel 		Yes it might be the case of the corruption of pst files. Pst files gets corrupted due to numerous reasons and one of the common reason Is the big size of pst files. That is why it is always recommended to pst split the large files in order to prevent the issue of corruption. There are only couples of methods to fix the issue. One is the use of Inbox repair tool which simply repairs the outlook files and resolves the issue of damage or corruption. But if the case is very severe means if the corruption is much high then there comes the need of advance pst repair software that will do the job as in this case inbox repair tool fails to do the job.
