How to remove the error code 0x80040116 in outlook 2002 ?

while working with the settings of a PST File in outlook 2002 at [File > Data File Management], I kept getting the error code 0x80040116. I had earlier the same problem with my archive PST file as well as personal folders PST file. I was able to resolve the problem with Archive PST by just closing and reopening the Archives folder but the same is not helping this time. Can anyone tell me the cause and its solution?

You are getting this error message due to several reasons including corruption in the Outlook PST file or the file is going to reach the 2GB size limit. In these situations you will be unable to open the PST file and the entire Microsoft outlook and its contents like the inbox files, emails, contacts etc. Now you must need to know what to do in this situation.

If you are still able to open the PST file then you are very fortunate. As soon as possible download the Split PST and use it to split the PST file to stop making the Outlook PST corrupted. If it is not opening then you have to use the inbox repair tool to recover the corrupted PST. All these applications are available on the popular software websites so download them and use.
