Error Key exchange for DVD copy protection failed, what does it mean?

I tried ripping DVD with PQ DVD to iPod ripper the conversion went on smoothly for almost half of the DVD and it remained till half as I got a message saying that (key exchange for DVD copy protection failed) and it says to upgrade direct X to 9.0 or higher. I don’t know what to do?

michael 		Error Key exchange for DVD copy protection failed means the DVD you are trying to rip is copy protected which your DVD ripper failed to decrypt. Only proficient software such as Wondershare DVD ripper for Mac has the capability to rip those DVD’s, and they can rip DVD to distinct formats along with iPod MP4.
