Error COOD1199, windows media player is not playing the mov files?

I installed QT alt(V.1.67 latest QT7 version) and this messed up my windows media player and is not playing the mov files created by my Nikon 995 digi cam, and is giving COOD1199 errors, why is it so?

princy 		This error is caused by QuickTime alternative (QT7 version) that did not comply with windows media player, so uninstall it and reinstall (latest QT6 version) in order to correct the problem. By doing this system will start playing mov files and WMP will also work correctly mov converter is not necessary.
